Yes. One room plus a nice sized booth and a second Iso.

Ever since we started working in the "no control room" fashion back at the pre-CTS 33 Grand location it's been a real joy. I still find it to be my favorite way to work. Certainly the most effective way to use a smaller space as long as there is at least one good sounding booth. Creative, fast and fun. After all these years working that way at our place and also visiting traditional rooms (mostly out of town) for some projects I still really love it and feel the only negative is that if you were doing Live to 2 track you'd have to do it on headphones.

Got me there? Must be a photo thing. Regular 86" blackout curtains from Target.

Getting really close. At this point we have almost everything set up except. Waiting on a new rack for our comps & EQ's that we ordered from the Sound Construction people.

Thanks much guys. It's very exciting. We got the Neotek going and it was in terrific shape. Re labeled the patch bay and took our time wiring up the new rack. The guys from Sound Construction improved on their already great racks. The new one has more venting on the back doors and even more cable pass throughs inside and underneath. We sold our old one to a neighbor upstairs. New one is larger and has maple trim.

We started a mix project on Wednesday and all went well. Sent the first mix over to Paul Gold at Salt Mastering to see if he heard anything different or funny. Got a great report back from him saying the bottom was tighter than what we had been getting out of the Calrec and the top was finer also. It's great to turn the console on and have it really come back exactly where it was the day before. We had John Charette come over and wire the C speaker button to a headphone amp so we can monitor the console out via headphones.

There are a couple empty spaces in the Comp/EQ rack. There's always more stuff to get! The pic the other day didn't have the Chandler TG-1 in it.

Have to say we're really happy about how this move worked out for us. Thanks for the comments. Here's a couple more pictures.

Pardon my ignorance, but what's in the right side of the rack beneath the APIs and above the EQ?

They look like Meyer CP-10 EQs!

Yep, Meyer CP-10's Scalpel type EQ. We have Avalons and Neves in the pre-amp rack by the console.
