Gluing Foam Earpiece Sony Headphones V600
Gluing Foam Earpiece Sony Headphones V600
Hi,
I've got Sony V600 headphones. The foam earpieces have cloth wrapping which holds them to the metal of each earpiece. But the material slides off ever few days.
Any recommendations on a safe/secure glue to hold the cloth in place? By 'safe' I mean:
a) Won't damage black metal
b) Is easily removable when I have to replace the foam again
c) Won't give me earlobe cancer or -whatever-.
TIA,
---JC

Maybe a couple of tabs of that two sided 3M tape. I've got a guitar pickguard held on with that.
The previous statement is from a guy who records his own, and other projects for fun. No money is made.

I am not getting that message.Suntower wrote:Good idea. A bit too 'ghetto' for me, though. Hoping for a solution that is not noticeable.Nick Sevilla wrote:non residue Duck tape.
i.e. gaffer tape.

Also, using the gaffer tape by rolling it onto itself creating a double sided sticky stuff might help.
Howling at the neighbors. Hoping they have more mic cables.
There's a thread regarding the pop-up in the Board forum, ie the forum for the board.

I get it on my tablet, but not on my PC which has adblocker.
