Had one of those Behringer Model D Minimoog clones show up today. Just showed up at work so haven’t had time to plug it in yet.

Start a thread on that once you've had some time with it, please.

Seconding that. I've been really curious about these.

Recently got 2 pair of the SE Ribbons. The Voodoo VR1 and the active Voodoo VR2.
They both sound really good. Punching way above their price range. The active VR2's have a lot of output and both models have worked well with all the pre-amps that we've tried them with so far. Really good high end on both of them. Heavy build. Comes with wooden box and 2 mounts (standard and shock mount)

Acquired Behringer Model D number 2 today. Here is a polychain demo I made, one D panned hard left, another D panned hard right.

Nice! I have Avantone's cheap ribbon, but often find it too boomy for a lot of sources. Maybe I should swap for one of these. Besides the output, have you noticed much difference between the active and passive?

Hi guys, this is my first post here, and I'm happy to say I got a Beyerdynamic M-260N last week.
I'm SO happy!

So last night, through the magic of Craigslist, I traded a 16-year-old Aprilia scooter that was not getting any use for a Korg PE-1000, which is pretty damn cool:

From what I understand, that was the goal. The idea behind the VR2 was for people who were using interface pres and maybe didn't have a good high gain preamp.
