You might be better off buying your guitar a girlfriend.

I would suggest getting her something other than music stuff. Why she might like it for now you never know when it might come back and get you. Women remember everything. My girlfriend loves the band Beulah so one Valentines I got her a few different things including a Beulah DVD and at the time she was happy but now she brings it up as if it was a terrible gift.
Practicality is not a trait most women have i'm sorry to say.

A nice necklace is always a good way to go. You can go to www.Etsy.com
They have a lot of independent jewelry makers on there that sell original hand made pieces for decent prices. I think they also have a gift guide that you can choose who you are looking at gifts for(ex Significant Other) and it gives a list of different stuff.
I bought my girlfriend a necklace off Etsy that was just the Seoul subway map on a piece of plastic and she loved it, she gets compliments on it all the time. I think it cost like 20 bux.
Also a sufficiently loaded gift card to where she likes to get clothes
You're so money and you don't even know it!

I feel like all of the advice has been pretty good so far (isn't it awesome how all women are basically the same and we can tell a complete stranger what a good gift to buy for someone is basing it only on their gender), and I'd just like to add that little doilies to put under tea cups at her tea parties are also a pretty good gift.

Or you could do like JT on SNL did and give her your " ____ in a box".
How about those tiny little Fender amps? Those things kinda rule...

That's kind of mean for her to say. All my girlfriend talked about wanting was the Replacement biography because they are her favorite band...I'd feel pretty shitty if she turned around and told me that it was a crappy gift later one.

But everything could go that way. You could buy her jewelry and she her first response may be "ohh this is amazing!" and then never wear it.
Still waiting for a Luna reunion

It would be awesome if I could buy my wife gear for presents. She'd get a lot more presents, that's for sure.

And then instead of "Why the hell do you need another guitar?" it would be "Thanks for the new guitar, you're so sweet!"

And, of course, she'd let me use it whenever I want 'cause we share like that!

I dated a girl that also played guitar for a while. She would always get mad at me for playing her SG supreme. "your a bass player, why the hell do you play my guitar so much?" So she gave me her old Ibanez roadstar. Nice guitar actually. Too bad it got stolen by meth fiends. Along with a couple empty 2x12 cabs and some other gear. Never trust a druggie!
I forgot what my point was.
oh yeah, get her a 57.
