Anatomy of a Murder--Duke Ellington
Model Shop--Spirit
If you're feeling electronicky:
Forbidden Planet--Louis & Beebe Barron
Logan's Run--Jerry Goldsmith (well, it has some high points anyway)

I'm fond of a few of the ones already mentioned as well.

The Blues Brothers and Rocky Horror got to make the list. And, although not strictly speaking movie soundtracks, old Broadway original cast recordings.

Not to pretend I’m in the same league as any of these other movies but i just got an email from someone in germany saying they love the end title track I did for the film “Officer Downe.” On Netflix and other stuff now. For the record also wrote a couple other original tunes scattered in the film and did the score as well. Was my first full length film, and there’s definitely a few parts that got biffed by the sound mixer that made it to the final release...but oh well. Check it out if you can, lots of T&A and blood and guts so obviously put the kids to bed...

Verdammt Mr. Slight, das ist ein immersiver und mitreißender Soundtrack, wenn ich jemals einen höre.

Lost in Translation-the soundtrack taken together is kind of disorienting, just like your first visit there.
Hair-Original Broadway cast. Because mom played it alot and I knew the thing backwards and forwards, but apparently I wasn't supposed to say some of it out loud in public..

Lol thanks, my German is nicht so gut? It is always precious when a German (or other) apologizes for their “bad English.” Like dude, my German is miserable, and your English is better than some people I work with... I wish I spoke a foreign language half as well as they speak English.

For record, this is the song he was specifically complementing. (Albeit this is a bootleg off of the German blu ray lol)
