MoreSpaceEcho Released on Indictment in Wrongful Death Suit.
Found Not Guilty

Celebrated musician/engineer/producer MoreSpaceEcho or MSE aka More S. Echo (born Morris Pace Echoe) was released today from custody after an indictment for the wrongful death of an intern engineer in his charge was dropped after jury found the death to be an accident.

Todd E. “Can Do” Martinsen died in the service of Echoe at his MöreSpace recording studios from a head injury received while attempting to capture a snare drum sound sample involving one snare colliding with a second at high velocity.

Martinsen had been living at MöreSpace in the studio's storeroom for just over two years in exchange for custodial duties, studio assistance and the unlimited Red Bull required for the grueling session work hours MSE was reknowned for.

The suit was brought against MSE/Echoe by Martinsen’s family who believed the methods being used for obtaining sound samples by the producer were unecessarily dangerous.

Echoe/MSE testimony revealed that they both knew of no other way to obtain the proper sound necessary for the samples short of the extreme methods they were employing, involving the hurling of snares drums from great height at a second, especially for the snare that killed Martinsen.

A Chad Smith signature model, it was a particularly difficult sound to capture accurately. “The man hits the damn thing so hard, I had to really chuck it. I threw it nearly twice as hard as any other that day. Todd had been on the ladder for awhile and was getting tired, so I went up top and took my best shot. Neither of us were wearing the motorcycle helmet any longer, we were too tired to bother. And when the impact sent it flying towards Todd .. I knew it was not going to end well.”

vindicated!

it was strictly only necessary danger.

to make amends, all of the proceeds from the sale of my solo records go to both Martinsen's family and a scholarship established in his name at Berklee.

we have yet to hit $35 but remain optimistic.

Scott?

Yes Marge?

Victor Vance Vlayman on the phone, wants a sound sample of the Temple Tone.

That old thing? Does he want the individual hits, or the completed sound?

He said he wanted the “fatal snare sound”

Morbid guy this Vlayman .
I guess he’ll want the post-ricochet “gourd dropped from 3 stories onto sidewalk” sound in addition to the chad whatsisface’s snare.

THIS JUST IN.......

Ron Burgundy here, good day Paris! Hola! The "Fatal" or "best sounding" snare claim as thought to be owned by MoreSpaceEcho his eminence now has a challenger..............

Bernard Purdie! Yes that same drummer that graced all the Beatles recordings and created the FONK masterpiece known as the Purdie shuffle. My grandfather used to say Purrrrrrdy whenever he described the flowers, same guy?

Back to world news, the earth is indeed flat and these major athletes are here to prove it.

.........

Well Mr. Bub.
Please, Call me Beyelza,
Fine. Well Beyelza, Your agent tells me things have been a bit lean of late for you, but we have an album cover photo opportunity we would like to offer you.
Oh really? That's great. Is it an up and coming band? I could really use a career boost right about now.
Oh yes, yes! Hair metal is going to be bigger than ever here in 1991!
