How AI-generated music is changing the way hits are made

“You’re collaborating and working with the AI to achieve your goal,” Hobe says. “It’s not that the AI is just doing its own little thing. It’s all about the process between it and you to achieve that final artistic vision.”

"I don't know, I think so."
God smiles down. "hey, if it feels good, it is good"

"In Orwell's '1984' people are controlled by inflicting pain. In Brave New World, they are controlled by inflicting pleasure. In short, Orwell feared that our fear will ruin us."

In Huxley's book, people go to the feelies, like a movie hall but they are hooked up to a machine that exites all their senses, a little adventure without going anywhere, leaving them fulfilled and centered and all that good stuff.
This AI music-helper is just the beginning.

I like how booze "exites" all my senses.

That and a loud Marshall amp and I can reach fulfillment.

Otherwise, I play my synths as keyboards, refusing to use the sequencers, and hardly the arpeggiators.

I can't imagine collab'ing witha 'pooter, nor imagine wanting to.
