sad day, he's a legend. i saw him at jazzfest when i lived in NOLA, i read his autobiography which was a great read as well (very candid).

I really dislike The Black Keys but that album he did with Auerbach, Locked Down, might be in my top 10 of all time. I saw him at a festival in Chi in the early 90's and he did not look healthy, but sounded great. He walked on gilded splinters.

Agreed. Crazy good.
