saving headphones from destruction

Post by joninc » Wed Jan 08, 2020 6:36 pm

I need to get some good hooks that can mount to mic stands to hang headphones on... I had a set take a fall and break the other day and so it's cheaper to get some hooks then replace even 1 set of nice headphones but they need to be able to attach to the mic stands that my little headphone amp stations (furman) are attached to.

what do you use? any DIY hardware store hacks?

These would work pretty well and you could also use them for their intended purpose whenever you need.

The $2 solution: A hardware store coat hook & a hose clamp.

For any headphones you'd want to wear, it's fine. Koss K4's (with the heavy gel earpads) might be pushing it.

Probably won't hold my fully loaded messenger bag...but neither will the doohickeys pictured above.

I got a few from Long & McQuade. I think Apex makes them.

I should add, at various locations around the house, I just bent coat hangers to shape ...
