Looking for physical TapeOp magazines

Post by GussyLoveridge » Mon Jan 13, 2020 2:32 pm

Hi dudelingers,

When TapeOp stopped shipping magazines to Canada, I stopped getting the physical magazines. I really like them, I don't do so well reading on the computer. Can someone sell me at a reasonable price some physical copies? I can't remember exactly when they stopped shipping to Canada, but I'd pretty much take any from anytime ever happily.

Thanks so much for considering this.

Gus.

Hi there,
I have probably 15 years worth in a couple of boxes, all in great shape.
I’m in the middle of cleaning/organizing, so I’ll take this as a sign to let some stuff go.
As I type this, I’m reconsidering, which means I should definitely let them go!
Is there any issues with shipping to Canada?
I never had the pleasure of shipping across the boarder.
I’m talking probably 20+ pounds of magazines.
All in great shape.

Rand

you might check the USPS to see if the media mail rate applies, otherwise it could be pricey. USPS has all the international/customs forms to fill out, but its not too difficult.

I just received the new Tape Op, and in the letters section Larry mentions that besides the free .pdf files, you can also purchase old copies. Just a thought.

Hey - I'm so sorry. I don't have the internet at my house and I don't really use it all that much. Wasn't trying to be rude!

How much do you think the boxes weigh? What's your zip code?

If you want to PM me with that too and let me know what you'd want for them. In the meantime I will also look into buying back issues. Thanks for that hot tip.

I literally just accepted a paypal offer from another tape op dude.
Sorry, I should have pm you instead of reaching out on the forum.
I was surprised that I had a couple of people that were interested.
Well, another tip I can offer was I actually found some collections available on eBay.
Sorry man, good luck in your quest.
