Rack effect in front of amp
Rack effect in front of amp
How could I hook up an eventide rack effect box w/ wet dry in front of an Amp with no FX loop?
There is that mixinglink pedal . Maybe that?
Thanks

Should be no prob straight in, start with all levels at 0, bring 'em up slow.
If it buzzes, ground-reverse or lift the effect.
A DI (especially with a transformer) might help, either between guitar and effect, or effect and amp - try it.
FWIW, years ago, I ran pedals with a midi pedal and Midiverb and a 128 DSP+ into the front of a silverface Bassman 50w. Sounded great at that time (doing my sorta Vernon Reid thing).

This is why I have an analog console. Swiss army knife of sending signals to places.
Howling at the neighbors. Hoping they have more mic cables.

I have an analog mixer. Its from 1968, Before aux sends were invented

The h910 is line level in and out. So I need a DI for sure

Right ..60's didn't have aux send/return . . it showed up in the 70's.

I'll lose a channel but Im thinking maybe I could use one as an aux return.
