Just take an afternoon and de-clutter. You can do it the right way and actually organize all your crap, or do it the lazy way and just pile all the crap into a closet somewhere you can't see it. Either way will be an improvement. I really believe it's easier to be creative in an uncluttered space.

Pro Tip: horizontal surfaces are vehicles for clutter. Keep them to a minimum. Besides the floor (can't do anything about that one), in my room the only one is the coffee table, and though I try, it's usually covered in pedals, coffee cups and empty Polar seltzer cans.

I suppose it breaks up standing waves a bit too.

That looks cool. Position of those basses looks a little precarious though!

What’s the pedal on the top right? Looks like a metal zone. And looks like you have 8 of them!
Please tell me you use them all at once for the ultimate swarm of angry bees tone.

My bad. I didn't make clear that that wall pictured belongs to someone named Janek Wizdala according to the monikor running down the right side of the photo.
I just searched for and posted a pic showing a means for MoreSpace to have more space on his coffee table which he said finds itself often covered in pedals.

But I'll tell you what is mine. I see you guys all have your nice music site links in your signatures. I finally joined the club and signed up for a soundcloud account and posted six songs at this point: A couple early four track, a Tascam 238 track, a couple adat tracks and one tracked on an actual daw. (If you head over, that one, Tsunami, sounds the most polished. It's an instrumental. ) These are pretty straightforward rock ditties, I will probably put some of the weirder stuff up later. ;)
I suppose the "serious" musicians post on bandcamp? If I can find all the source tracks, I'd like to remix a bunch of stuff..

it's Janek Gwizdala's room. they are Boss OC-2 octave pedals. he and many other bassists are big into that pedal, they turn off the direct tone and just use the Octave Down and 2 Oct Down to get Subby Synth bass type sounds (think like dub step, synth bass type tones). apparently all the different countries they were made in sound different (japan, taiwan, china, reissue, etc) hence the collection. he's a enormously talented bassist in the jazz and fusion arenas, and runs a nice youtube channel, very down to earth dude it seems.

That's a Wren & Cuff Pickle Pie Muff sitting all green and pretty mid-2nd shelf.

Yellow top row is two DOD250's.

3rd row far right are Waza Boss pedals.

Aguilar pedals mid-bottom row.

Buncha DOD to Boss mid-fifth to end, after the Pigtronix Envelope Phaser, including a cuppla DOD FX25's.

if I could take just 1, it would be one of the Russian muffs, 3rd row left, under the Moogs.

That's approaching $10K worth of pedals, I think.

Heh. Thank you! Alas I have no available wall space to put such cool looking shelving.

It does look mighty fine. I'm guessing such a bad-ass bassist wouldn't dream of putting his tools in harms way, I bet that door just clears those on-stand beauties.
