Leather Pouch for Shure SM7B?
Hi there — I'm trying to do a better job of storing all my mics (since they don't get used as often anymore), so I keep all of them in nice leather pouches, but inside those, I have clear plastic poly-bags as "mic condoms" + I have small silica packets in there with them.
The one mic that I don't have a good way of storing is the Shure SM7B. I'm gonna use a zip-loc freezer baggie, but I don't have any sort of leather pouch that's big enough. Has anyone ever bought / found something like that which would hold the SM7B with it's yoke?

You might have a hard time finding something big enough. I use dollar store plastic bins for some of my bigger mics. The small ones are about the right size for a bigger mic.
A kids metal lunchbox also works well.

Not leather (do you mean actual animal hide?), but Klein Tools make a variety zip up bags that might work.
These have a flat bottom, like a paper grocery bag. 3.5" wide, so just about right for an SM7.
There are also EVA zipper cases if you hunt on Amazon, but I don't have a solid recommendation on a specific source of them.

The little case that my grandad kept his shaving kit in would be perfect...especially if you don't mind your mics smelling like Aqua Velva.

My old studio boss worked in a Pawn Shop and would buy pistol cases and we stored mics in those.

Harbor Freight has knock-off Pelican cases (Apache brand) that would be great for an SM7B for around $20.

Actual leather, or just some sturdy material?
I sew up bags from upholstery fabric from the clearance section. If you're already putting a plastic bag in there I doubt the material matters, unless you've got a particular theme going or something.

Re: Leather Pouch for Shure SM7B?
I finally gave up on "Leather", which I only really wanted because all of my other mic bags are leather (or faux leather — whatever the standard Shure SM58 bags are made of).
Anyway, I ended up going with a nylon zipper bag from Klein Tools, model 5139b (it was only $10). It's 12.5" long and it's just a tiny bit over-sized for the SM7B, but it's fine.
I popped the stitched logo off, and it's all good. Just posting this in case anyone else is ever looking for something similar.

Using a ziploc freezer baggie is a good short-term solution, but finding a custom leather pouch for the SM7B would be awesome. I haven't come across one myself, but maybe someone in the community has a cool recommendation or DIY hack for that.
And speaking of storage solutions, have you checked out Custom Printed Poly Bag (url scrubbed by tomb)? They could be a fun way to add a personal touch to your mic storage setup. Here's to keeping those mics snug and safe!

FWIW, the shaving kit bag mentioned above reminds me that there's a thing called a Dopp Kit bag.
Ya might search for one of those and I'm pretty sure you can even find one in leather.
Or PVC, if that's yer thing.

For a leather pouch that can hold your Shure SM7B with its yoke, you should check out Von Baer leather products. They have a bunch of cool leather pouches and cases that might work for you. You can find their stuff at https://vonbaer.com/. If you want something more unique, you could also try reaching out to local leather craftsmen or checking out places like Etsy. Sometimes you can find custom-made leather pouches that fit specific microphone models.
