Recover/Change Password Isn't Working
Nope, no sirree.
In fact, I'm not sure the autogenerated email service is working at all.

I haven't received any email notification from TOMB in years

Is TOMB a ghost ship?

Re: Recover/Change Password Isn't Working
Emails from Tape Op the magazine would be separate from Tape Op's message board.
I just tried a password recovery myself, and didn't receive an email, either. (Luckily I do still know my login.)
I'll try reporting this thread to the moderators so they'll be alerted to it.

Not a ghost ship, but responses can sometimes take a couple days.
I'll take a look at it and see if I can figure out what is going on.
The board has been on minimal maintenance for some years now. the post count is low, and all new accounts are manually approved to keep the spam out.

I can confirm board emails are not working, resolution to that will take some time.
Since you are logged in, one possible workaround for changing password is via the user cp. It does require knowing your current password.
Click on your username, choose User Control Panel.
Click the Profile Tab.
Click the Edit Account Settings.
Enter new password (twice)

Re: Recover/Change Password Isn't Working
The problem is, I used a password generator to create a random password. Which was stored in Firefox's logins wallet. And then I forgot my Firefox password...
You're probably wondering how I can possibly be logged in if I don't know my password. Well, that's because this isn't my original account.
