Just got a Box from Ugly Things with the new issue,and some back issues.
It's -10 outside. Gonna go shovel in a bit,and see if the truck will start.

So, up pops a old girlfriend (by this time, old and married with kids and a 30+ yer hubby) from college in the late 70's, and sends me some Xmas gifts, including The Pretenders eponymous box set with the original re-mastered, a disc of demos and some TV stuff, and a live concert from 1980.
Listening to the latter right now. While not studio quality, it's really good live sound, and amazing playing. The rhythm section is tight (Farndon is so under-rated) and Honeyman is very creative, with an effects-laden rhythm style of lead/rhythm, as well as his modulate-FX'd single lines.
Chrissie is perfect, in voice and her kinda Bo-diddly rhythm guitar.
She also sent me the 2nd's box set, and the original vinyls, the latter of which I just framed and hung.
