don't know what you're looking for, but check out the Pioneer SG-540 on Ebay for dirt cheap. It's like this: set everything on flat. What comes out sounds better than what goes in. I'm not fucking with you here. |

Ha! Thanks for the tip, but I actually try not to use EQ except surgically, ITB on mixdown.
I mean, I'll use it on a hardware channel-strip sometimes (Meek, Eureka), but anything thereafter is ITB and corrective.
But then, mebbe if I could fine one o' them in black ...

And FWIW, I have a Harman Kardon EQ that I consistently almost use on a regular basis.

This prolly doesn't so much apply to this discussion, but to my ears the uad pultec does that as well. |
