I'm planning how I'll spent vacation time next year. I'm giving serious thought to going on a couple-week long tour of London (and other UK spots), and making a few studio stops along the way. I'd love to meet up with any TapeOpers in the UK while I'm there.
I'll probably do my best to include a few obvious spots, but I'm curious to know about any great little spots that would welcome an engineer from the states for a bit.
Studio Tourism in the UK: Where should I stop?

Of the top of my head, a few interesting places to get in touch with :
http://www.thisismetropolis.com - Metropolis Studios, based in an old power station in West London.
http://www.toeragstudios.co.uk - Toe Rag studios - all analog EMI Abbey Road console joy and wonderment. http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/oct03/a ... tudios.htm
Miloco Studios manage a heck of a roster in the UK and beyond, might be worth a scan to see if any float your boat. If floating boats is your thing, there's one of those too http://www.miloco.co.uk/studios/london- ... tudios.php
