"How to wrap mic cables" poster for musicians?
Anybody know of a simple graphic that explains how to over-under wrap an XLR cable?
This would be awesome to have, blown up to poster size and hanging in the live room for those times when they say "can we help you tear down?" but it would waste more time to explain the technique.
a quick Google image search turned up nothing of the sort.

Waitaminute, A. David, I'm confused. You think he should have a poster that says "No?"

So wouldn't it be nifty if you could give them something easy and repetitive to do while you put your fancy-schmancy gear away with utmost care?Nick Sevilla wrote:More of my gear has been broken by well meaning musicians who have "stomach hands". i.e. hands that turn things into shit, than by anything else.

Yes. I call that activity "rehearsing".Magnetic Services wrote:So wouldn't it be nifty if you could give them something easy and repetitive to do while you put your fancy-schmancy gear away with utmost care?Nick Sevilla wrote:More of my gear has been broken by well meaning musicians who have "stomach hands". i.e. hands that turn things into shit, than by anything else.
Thank you, I'll be here all week.
Howling at the neighbors. Hoping they have more mic cables.
