ashly sc-50 question

Post by eeldip » Tue Jan 18, 2005 10:49 am

ok, just trying to figure out if mine has some "problems".

i have the kind with the "limiter" button. when the button is depressed, the thing works like a normal compressor. everything makes sense.

when it is undepressed, the sc-50 does something... its is compressing (or something), makes everything gluey in a cool way, but the attack and release knobs dont seem to do anything.

is this normal?

I'm getting one in the mail any day now, I'll let you know what mine does.

yours is fucked, and it's going to break all your other equipment too. send it to me immediately, i'll 'dispose' of it properly.

Didn't we do this once before? :D

Unfortunately, the link in that thread to the manual is now dead. That sucks! That site had a bunch of manuals and was a great resource.

Thats exactly how mine is.

Thats about all I can say without knowing anything about the operation of it, rather than just twistin' knobs.
