I'm attempting to demo some new plugins and keep getting this error:
"The License Support software required to validate the license for this product is not installed. Please reinstall the product
or download and run the License Support installer here: www.ilok.com "
I have the latest ilok version and the plugins show up there and within cubase's plugin directory - I've tried re-installing the VST and it's not helping.
Anybody know how to resolve this?
(i'm on win10 pc running cubase 10.5 btw)

Some suggestions:
1. Re boot the computer, including any har har hardware, especially if you have several USB things connected.
2. Clean the USB iLok connector, and where it plugs into your USB chain.
3. Reinstall the iLok License Manager software, and then reboot the computer.
4. Lastly, reinstall those plug ins (this should be done last.)
I am on the 3rd gen iLok, the tiny metal effer. It seems to do ok so far.
PS, which plug ins?

also, which iLok -- some plugins require a specific version (2 or 3).

I have the first one, have not upgraded the second one here. Instant Flanger Mkii 1.5.4 here, working under VST3 and AAX.
